Is there a weight limit?
Yes. Weight limits are based on dumpster size:
- 10 Yard Dumpster – Up to 3,000 lbs
- 15 Yard Dumpster – Up to 3,500 lbs
- 20 Yard Dumpster – Up to 4,000 lbs
Additional weight is charged at $0.05 per pound.
Will normal household junk exceed the weight limit?
In most cases, no. If you are loading normal household items such as furniture, clothing, boxes, toys, and household trash, it is very unlikely you will exceed the included weight allowance.
Can I load the dumpster above the top?
No. For transportation safety, dumpsters may not be loaded above the fill line. Materials must remain level with the top of the dumpster.
If the dumpster is overloaded, customers may be required to remove excess material before pickup.
Are mattresses allowed?
Yes. Up to 2 mattresses or boxsprings total are included.
Additional mattresses or boxsprings are:
- $40 per mattress
- $40 per boxspring
