Accepted Materials
Sherpa Dumpsters may be used for general household junk, furniture, construction debris, yard waste, garage cleanouts, moving cleanouts, and non-hazardous trash.
Prohibited Materials
The following items are NOT allowed in Sherpa Dumpsters:
- No appliances
- No electronics (TVs, monitors, computers, printers, etc.)
- No hazardous waste
- No batteries
- No paint, chemicals, oils, or flammable liquids
- No tires
Mattress & Boxspring Policy
Up to 2 mattresses or boxsprings total may be placed in the dumpster at no additional charge.
Additional mattresses or boxsprings beyond the included limit will incur a fee of:
$40 per mattress$40 per boxspring
Weight Restrictions
To avoid overweight charges, please follow the dumpster weight limits below:
- 12 Yard Dumpster: Up to 3,000 lbs
- 15 Yard Dumpster: Up to 3,500 lbs
- 20 Yard Dumpster: Up to 4,000 lbs
If you are loading normal household goods such as furniture, boxes, clothing, toys, and general household trash, it is almost guaranteed that you will NOT exceed the weight limit.
Heavy materials such as dirt, concrete, roofing shingles, bricks, tile, or large amounts of construction debris may exceed the allowed weight limit and could result in additional charges.
Any weight exceeding the included limit will be charged at a rate of:
- $0.05 per pound (5 cents/lb) over the included weight allowance.
Fill Line & Safety Policy
For road safety and transportation compliance, dumpsters must NOT be loaded above the top fill line.
Materials may not stick out over the sides or top of the dumpster.
If the dumpster is overloaded or filled above the designated fill line, the customer may be required to unload excess material before pickup can be completed safely.
